Profile
This delicious Rose evokes summer as soon as you smell the strawberries and fresh summer fruits. It is pale pink in colour and has a beautiful dry acidity and a long persistent finish. Made from a blend of native grapes. A delicious drink to be enjoyed with tapas.
Vinification
Control of ripening on the vine, fermentation in stainless steel tanks of small capacity with controlled temperature (13 to 15 C) for about 30 days.
Wine maker
Since 1950 this is the oldest cooperative in Douro Valley (Douro valley is the oldest DOP in the World) . Founded to make sure all of the vineyard owners got a fair price for their grapes. The Adega Cooperativa de Mesao Frio strives for quality in wines. Combining tradition with new wine making technologies arises Claustru's. This is a wine originating from the Douro region that reflects regional varieties.
