A growers own Espumante made with 100% Avesso grapes using the traditional champagne methods.
This is obvious when you taste the wine. It has the brioche type aromas and smoothness you find in good champagne; fine even bubbles, a lemony acidity with a fresh long finish.
A fantastic celebration wine delicious with or without food
This Espumante comes from a small producer in the Vinho Verde region of Northern Portugal. This particular vineyard is family owned and is run by the very enthusiastic and passionate Micaela Fonseca. Originally trained as an architect her love vineyard brought her back from the city and she has injected a youthful vibrancy into the wines which are winning awards around the globe. The vineyard itself is in a micro climate which reflects the soil and weather conditions of the Champagne region in France.
The outstanding elegance and sheer great quality of this fantastic fizz makes it the perfect celebration wine, delicious with or without food.
